Driving Alaska's Parks, Denali, Glenn and Seward Highways

This is Part 2 of a three-part photoblog highlighting the people pics of our June 2014 Alaskan adventure by cruise ship and rental car. Part 1: "North to Alaska" covered the Crown Princess cruise from Vancouver, B.C. to Whittier, Alaska. This blog covers our rental car tour of south central Alaska up the Parks Highway from Anchorage to Denali National Park, our snowy drive across the long unpaved Denali Highway, our return to Anchorage via the Glenn Highway and our drive down the Seward Highway. Our adventures included two full days riding Denali National Park's wildlife bus tours deep into the park, climbing the Matanuska Glacier with Nova River Runners in Chickaloon, AK, and a fine glacier and wildlife boat tour of Kenai Fjords National Park out of Seward. Enjoy these images of this enchanting land.

To see my best nature and wildlife photos from this trip see my "Wilderness Adventures with Bob Hare" in the links to the right.
