Apertures: A Photographic Essay of Windows and Portals of England and France

In September 2017, my wife and I spent three weeks in London and the Cotswolds in England and in Paris and northern France visiting cathedrals from Reims to Rouen to Chartres. Whether I was inside or out I often found my lens focusing on inviting windows, gates, doors, and portals. Enjoy these impressions of these special places.

P.S.: If you click an image it enlarges and you can scroll through this collection (but without the captions).
